Problem
Opus Online, a leading software development company in Estonia, needed restructuring and simplifying how they communicate their services. They wanted to rephrase their value proposition. The goal was to make sure that the customers and potential employees could easily understand their strengths and areas of expertise through their website. To carry the messages effectively, the visual language needed updating. Opus was looking for a style that is timeless, yet exciting and suitable for a software development company.
Solution
We started the project by collecting information from the stakeholders about the value that Opus Online offers to their clients. We also conducted a brand perception survey within their team and performed an SEO research to map the best keywords. Based on these insights we proposed a new structure for Opus’ website and divided their services into two core directions. The process within both core services were explained in more detail separately. This structure became the basis for the new website design.
We started off by drafting a wireframe, featuring the new structure, value proposition and messages. Once this was confirmed, we continued to explore design directions, color stories and graphics. The final design carries elements that are inspired by the digital space and pixelation.
In order to communicate the company’s values to potential employees, we also directed a real-life-like photoshoot in their office. This helps to give a sneak-peek into what it’s like to work at Opus.
Results
We handed over a new website Figma design prototype and full content. We delivered the content both in Estonian and English. As a software development company, Opus continued to develop their new website.
The new website now serves as a digital business card for Opus Online.
